The drive through this part of Montana never seemed to be far from a view of the Rockies. There is no snow on the ground and the temperature was about 48 F. Although I intended to go skiing at Big Mountain, the lack of recent snow created spring snow conditions with a very thin cover. I opted to keep driving into British Columbia, hopefully to ski at Fernie tomorrow. The drive today was very scenic punctuated by the odd bit of action (see posting below).
