Monica

Monica and I have been good friends for over 20 years. She now has the job I used to have at MacLaren before I retired. She claims she did all the work and I got the credit. Prior to me, my good friend Calvin had the job which I was promoted into when he retired. And I claim that I did all the work and he got the credit. And so the world turns. Monica and I tend to be creatures of habit and we’ve faithfully patronized a number of restaurants over the years – The Pickle Barrel, Swiss Chalet, Il Fornello, Al Friscos, Alice Fazoolis and for the last five years, Murphy’s Law. Monica has just returned from a Mediterranean Cruise, including Santorini.
