The Birthday boy

I think what Brody, and every little child, love about birthdays is the anticipation and the opening of presents. Brody, at times, will play with the paper, or the box, just as readily as the presents. When I think back to my childhood, shortly after the war ended, there really were no consumer toys, per se. We were lucky to get anything at all. And in most cases it was essentials, like new socks. Brody got new socks and shirts but that was of relatively little interest compared with the Tonka Bounce Back Racer.
