Memory Lapse

On my morning runs I usually take my little camera just in case an award winning or heartstopping picture suddenly appears. I stopped to take just such a shot and much to my chagrin the camera told me I had forgotten to insert the memory card. It gave me pause to reflect that this mirrors my age somewhat: sometimes I just forget to insert the memory card. Numbers or dates or names once so familiar suddenly go missing, if only for a few minutes. Luckily for the camera, it's a simple mechanical function. Wish my problem was as easily solved.
