Rough Waters

The lake was rough this morning. Lots of waves, rearranging the shoreline. On days like this, the surfers come out in droves as do wind kites, neither of which are visible in the picture but they are nearby, just out of sight. As I ran along the I couldn't help but notice how much the wave action in the last day had changed the contour of the beach. The little girl in the red dress was having a wonderful time playing running along the edge of the waer, playing tag with the waves.
