The Beach

As I was dropping off some books, I idly speculated if, and when, the Toronto Public Library would ever change the name of this branch (Beaches) to the more politically correct (as of now), Beach. Several years ago, as a result of a local vote, the name Beach was choses by a narrow margin over Beaches. I suspect there will never be any real impetus to change the Library name on an official level just like our riding name federally and provincially is Beaches.
