Recess

I was passing a local schoolyard just as the kids came running out of the front door for the afernoon recess. It was always my favourite time in school. Lots of games: hide-and-seek, tag, throwing snowballs etc. And just like in my day, a teacher would walk around with a hand bell, signalling the end. Suddenly there was a frenzy of activity, trying to get in one more game, one more snowball.
