One of my summer projects was to build this arbour in the front yard. After much trial and error (mostly error) it was completed, and then the idea hit me that it could be used, on certain days, to showcase my photography. And so, Art in the Arbour, was launched on a quiet sunny day. It is probably the smallest art show in the area, which makes it all that much more interesting. My neighbours Tom, MaryAnne and Margaret (not to forget Olivia, the most well behaved dog in the world) were the first visitors to the Arbour. All prints were for sale, and business was brisk in the three hours of operation. It was almost sold out. The experiment was deemed a success, and future showings will be held periodically through the remainder of the summer.
