Best ski resort I've been to yet. It just has such a charming ambience, combining the old with the new. Lots of pedestrian walkways, outdoor cafes, neat restaurants, and so on.
I walked past this bronze statue several times and the third time, much to my surprise I found that it was a real man; one of these mime artists who can maintain a perfect still pose until someone drops money in his collection bag. Then he startles unsuspecting bystanders with sudden movements. I saw one child run away in terror.
