Catching the first light on the peak of the Matterhorn was interesting. The mountain really is impressive from the valley but not from on top. When it is seen with all the other mammoth mountains surrounding it, it loses some of its boldness.
The Matterhorn Glacier must be very deep because nowhere could I see it showing. Turn right on this little piste, and you will end up in Cervenia, Italy. I had a cup of overly strong coffee there just to say, been there done that.
Pedistrians rule the village, other than the little electric cars.
