Without realizing it, I had started a ritual several months ago and today it is coming to an end. I cancelled home delivery of the Toronto Star because I got tired of its over-the-top sensationalism. Before long though, I missed the puzzles and the Sports section. At the same time, my coffee making skills had gone downhill to the point where I would walk up to Tim Horton’s and get my daily coffee there. And pick up a newspaper along the way. I’ve been doing this for close to three months. Recently, the Star had a home delivery promotion which was a fraction of what I was paying and so I re-subscribed. And I gave my coffee making ability another chance.
