My iPad has the facility for ebooks and I must confess I am a reluctant adoptee. I prefer the touch of paper, the different fonts, and the satisfaction from putting the book on a shelf after I finish it. Or to give it to a friend to read. Yet, the fact that I can take this with me whereever I go without the weight or the bulk is a decided advantage. The real downside is that you have to make sure the batteries on the iPad are charged regularly.
